How it works
One real storm, start to finish: Dallas, Apr 25, 2026. Every storm night in your area runs the same three steps. After setup the list comes to you — your crews still check every roof before anyone knocks.

Streets ranked, usually by morning
The swath is crossed with mapped house footprints. Bigger hail ranks first. Under the same hail, the street with more homes ranks higher, and a nearby NWS hail report moves a street up. Wind streets near 58 mph+ reports get their own list.
Each street shows its hail size, about how many homes, and whether an NWS report was logged nearby — in the app and your email, usually the morning after.
What it isn't: StormRoute shows where hail and wind fell. It never says a roof is damaged — that still takes your inspection. If no street clears 1.00″ of hail or sits near a 58 mph+ wind report, you get no street list that morning rather than a guess. Lists are built automatically from public data and aren't checked by a person before they're sent — your crews are the check (Terms §2.1).
Check it against your own jobs
Every market has one past storm open free — the full ranked list, nothing blurred. If your crews worked those streets that week, you'll see what the list would have done for you. Members also open the market's other recent ranked storms, plus the 5-year hail map for every ZIP.
Our markets average 13 to 48 storm mornings a year (hail 1.00″+ or wind 58 mph+). Annual and Exclusive add the Storm Guarantee: fewer than five in your area, and your next 12 months are free on renewal.

Quiet months still bill — you're paying to be covered, not per storm
Paying the invoice means you agree to the Terms. All sales final. We choose ZIPs together on the 5-year hail map · renews yearly; we email you 30 days before
Storm GuaranteeAnnual and Exclusive: if your membership year has fewer than five qualifying storm mornings — days we send a hail (1.00″+) or wind (58 mph+) brief for your service area, including wind mornings that list report points but no streets — your next twelve months are free when you renew (account current all year). Measured on your whole service area. A free year of service, never a cash refund. Terms §5
Why exclusives are limitedNo more than half of any market's 5-year hail history can ever be held exclusive, so at least half the market always stays open to every member — and everyone always sees the full hail map.
Use your own number: if StormRoute puts your crews on one roof a year they'd otherwise have missed, does that job's profit beat $5,000? Then Annual pays for itself. Not sure yet? Open your market's free storm, text us your ZIPs for the 5-year map, then start month-to-month ($2,250 the first month with setup) and cancel any month it isn't paying for itself.
All sales are final. Monthly: cancel any time to stop the next charge. Annual, Season Pass and Exclusive run for the full term you paid for. The one exception is in the Terms §5: if another member takes a ZIP inside your area exclusively.

A hail map shows where hail fell. Someone still has to turn that swath into a knock order before the crews roll out. StormRoute does that step for you: the streets in your service area ranked by hail size, then by how many homes line them, on your phone, usually the morning after. If your current tool already does that, you may not need us — open your market's free storm and compare the two side by side.
Is this a lead list?
No. It's a ranked list of streets where radar and ground reports put the hail or wind. It tells your crews where to knock first. Who's home, and whether the roof is damaged, is for your inspection to find out.
Where does the data come from?
NOAA's radar hail estimate (about 1 km resolution), National Weather Service storm reports, and building footprints from OpenStreetMap — so home counts are approximate. A "home" is any mapped building within about a block of the street, so detached garages and shops count too; read it as the street's size, not a door count. Hail sizes are radar estimates, which can run larger or smaller than the stones on the ground; each street shows whether an NWS hail report of 1.00″+ was logged within 3 miles (your ground check) or it's radar only. A storm's biggest hail sometimes falls on fields or shopping centers, so the #1 street is the biggest hail over homes, not the storm's maximum.
Why does one street show 800+ homes?
Long streets get long counts. A street's home count is every mapped building within about a block of it, along the whole stretch that runs through the storm area — not only the part under the biggest hail. The hail size beside it is the biggest radar hail within ¾ mile of the street. On a long avenue, check the storm's hail map in the app for where the core crossed before you send the whole crew down it.
What about wind and hurricanes?
Wind streets are listed near National Weather Service reports of 58 mph or more, or NWS wind-damage reports. There's no radar product for wind, so wind lists are only as dense as the reports the NWS receives. Hurricanes are handled the same way: streets are listed only near NWS reports of 58 mph+ or hurricane wind damage.
What area does my plan cover?
The service area you send at setup — the cities or ZIP codes your crews actually work, inside the market you picked. The 5-year hail map always covers the whole market.
Can my whole team use it?
Yes. Everyone in your company can use the app and the lists. They just can't be shared outside your company.
Can my competitor buy the same list?
On standard plans, yes — we don't cap standard memberships in a market. Territory Exclusive is how you keep ZIPs to yourself. With Territory Exclusive, no other member receives street lists inside your ZIP codes for any storm from your start date on, for as long as you're a member. (Storms from before your start date — free samples and members' past-storm archive — stay visible.) If another member takes a ZIP inside your area exclusively, you stop getting street lists there (you keep the hail map); we email you within 5 business days, and Annual, Season Pass or Exclusive members can cancel within 30 days of that notice for a pro-rata refund of the unused term; Monthly members can cancel before the next charge.
How fast do I get started?
After you pay, we text you to confirm your service area. Setup takes about one business day: we build your service area into the system, test delivery to your team's email and the app on their phones, and get everyone on the app. The next storm morning's list comes to your email and the app. Lists usually arrive the morning after a storm; if NOAA data is late or can't be checked, we tell you that instead of sending a guess (Terms §6).
Who's behind StormRoute?
A small software business in Austin, Texas, just opening to its first members. You deal directly with the person who builds your territory, by text or phone, not a ticket system.
How do I cancel?
Email [email protected] or text (512) 893-4910 — no call, no retention pitch. Monthly stops before the next charge and runs to the end of the month you paid for. Annual, Season Pass and Exclusive run for the full term you paid for. All sales are final; the only exception is the exclusivity case in our Terms §5.
